Senior Analyst - Content Insights

We are looking for a collaborative, data-driven, and forward-thinking Senior Analyst to join our PlayStation Services team. This team is part of the Global Marketing, Sales, and Business Operations (GMSBO) organization, which drives the PlayStation Plus subscription business—a key driver of growth and innovation at Sony Interactive Entertainment.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Analyst, you will be at the intersection of data, strategy, and innovation, using your analytical skills to influence the content and benefits offered to PlayStation Plus members. Your work will directly impact the experiences we provide to our global gaming community, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise, strategic mindset, and passion for entertainment to help shape the future of our subscription services.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Leverage internal and external data sources, including commercial, behavioral, and consumer insights data, to build predictive models for engagement, performance, and revenue.
  • Use tools like SQL, Python, Airflow, Tableau, and Domo to scale the delivery and usability of data across the Services team.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations on how content and benefits can drive engagement and grow subscription sales.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams within GMSBO and across SIE to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure your findings are integrated into broader business strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable tools and methodologies that enhance content performance analysis and forecasting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or computational field.
  • 4+ years of experience in an analytics role within the digital entertainment space.
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end analytical insights from ambiguous business challenges.
  • Experience building and modeling data assets, creating visualizations, and delivering impactful reports.
  • Flexibility to support global business operations, including varying work hours.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for gaming and an interest in the gaming industry’s trends and innovations.
  • Experience working with subscription-based businesses.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their applications in analytics.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • PlayStation fan a plus
