Role Overview: 

To support our peripherals expansion in the exciting area of PC and off-console gaming, we are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to join us and help direct and grow our product portfolio in off-console gaming. 

The role will be working closely with the leadership teams across Channel Sales and Operations (CSO), alongside colleagues in Finance, Marketing, Product Development and territory sales teams. 

The successful candidate will work across the organisation using their experience in off-console peripherals to support the analysis and forecasting of new products through greenlight planning and into market execution, influencing the direction of PlayStations growth. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Primary source of off-console peripherals forecasts within SIE. Including new product introductions. 
  • Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, regional expansion or channel development by providing market insights and modelling potential outcomes. 
  • Alongside the Snr Analyst Peripherals for On-console, to work closely with Commercial Planning, Product Marketing and Finance to support Green Light (GLE) process. 
  • Share best knowledge and support to territory teams in bringing new and existing peripherals to PC channels. 
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models (volume, value) for PC peripherals across major geographies and channels (e.g., retail, e-tail, OEM). 
  • Monitor emerging PC hardware accessory trends and assess their implications for our business. 
  • Coordinate market research and analysis on PC peripherals globally: trend identification, market sizing, segmentation, pricing, growth drivers, barriers. 
  • In liaison with SP&A Insight Team, track and benchmark competitor activity, channel developments, consumer demand shifts and macro-factors that impact the PC market. 
  • In liaison with SP&A Insight Team, generate actionable insights and recommendations for product planning, business strategy and go-to-market execution. 

What we're looking for: 

  • 8+ years (or equivalent) of working in a product planning, analysis, or sales forecasting role ideally in a supplier of ‘off console’ gaming accessories.  
  • Deep understanding of gaming peripherals categories and trends by product group, region, and route to market. 
  • Experience of communicating effectively and persuasively with senior stakeholders using data led arguments and identifying areas of risk or uncertainty.  
  • Familiarity with external information and reports pertinent to off-console gaming peripherals. 

Desirable:  

  • A passion for analysis, modelling, forecasting and for gaming in general. 
  • Highly numerate, a confident and persuasive communicator 
  • Intellectual bandwidth to manage multiple stakeholders across geographies and functional specialisms. 
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a keen eye for detail 
  • Relationship builder, who can communicate at different levels of the organisation effectively. 
  • Able to identify and develop opportunities to improve, innovate and/or pioneer new ways of working through continuous process improvement practices.
