Your role at Kittl
As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll lead the AI Platform team at Kittl, playing a key role in driving AI initiatives across the company. You’ll shape and evolve the internal AI infrastructure while ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge models into our product ecosystem. Your work will help unlock transformative user-facing features, optimize internal workflows, and scale AI-powered capabilities in the context of graphic design. This role collaborates closely with product and business teams and reports to the CTO.
What you’ll do
Build and scale AI infrastructure: Design, maintain, and improve Kittl’s AI inference infrastructure to support scalable and efficient model deployment
Define AI strategy and roadmap: Lead the development and execution of Kittl’s AI roadmap, aligning it with company objectives. Champion best practices, responsible AI principles, and sustainable long-term strategy
Enable AI adoption across teams: Create processes and frameworks that help product and engineering teams identify opportunities for AI integration and experimentation
Optimize AI performance & efficiency: Improve the reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of AI systems, including model deployment and infrastructure optimization
Translate strategic needs into technical solutions: Work with cross-functional partners to ensure AI initiatives deliver real-world, measurable impact across the product
What you’ll need
Applied AI and deep learning experience: At least 5 years working with deep learning models in production environments, including 1–2 years focused on image generation and diffusion models
Leadership: At least 2 years in a leadership role guiding teams and defining AI strategy
Infrastructure & scaling know-how: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), AI model optimization, and distributed systems for deploying and managing large-scale inference systems
Strategic thinking & cross-functional leadership: Ability to define a technical roadmap that aligns with product and business goals, and guide teams toward delivering high-impact solutions
Hands-on technical depth: Strong experience with Python, PyTorch, HuggingFace Diffusers, and distributed computing frameworks
Clear & collaborative communication: Capable of explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, and building alignment across diverse stakeholders
Adaptability & learning mindset: Enthusiastic about staying current with AI trends and applying new developments to real-world challenges
