Position Summary
As a Senior Accountant, Technical Reporting, you will join an exciting team of subject-matter experts taking complete ownership of legal entity reporting for jurisdictions around the world. Working closely with other teams throughout the Group, project manage audit and accounts projects to deliver financial statements to timetable.
As a team, we collaborate closely with our management accountant colleagues to monitor entity performance and deal with challenges as they arise. You will be the key contact for dealing with company auditors and will need to forge a strong, collaborative relationship with this critical advisor.
We provide technical accounting support to other functions requiring us to deliver complex subject matter to non-technical audiences. We are a positive, pro-active team and continually seek to deliver improvement throughout finance. We will own or support with improvement projects throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
Ownership and timely delivery of the Group’s statutory accounts and audit projects around the world. Identify key project issues early and take pre-emptive action to address.
Technical review of individual legal entity management accounts throughout the year to drive timely corrective action ahead of year end.
Develop a strong and collaborative relationship with the auditor, understanding both their needs and the Group’s, to effectively manage audit projects from start to finish.
Production of technical accounting papers and quality audit schedules for both the auditor and internal use, including technical accounting review of revenue recognition for new sales contracts.
Engage and influence supporting internal corporate functions (including GL close, tax, internal audit and treasury) for audit project support and respond to their technical accounting requirements.
Monitoring of legal entity compliance in support of the Group’s CoSec function.
Plan and lead key project meetings to use time efficiently.
Deliver improvement projects within the service centre. Projects are ad-hoc in nature and will cover a range of areas within the wider finance department.
Adherence to policies and procedures, including SOX framework.
Other duties will be required from time to time.
Qualifications
Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW etc.)
Required Skills:
