The Role

Edelman's Tech team are now looking for a Senior Account Manager with a knack for managing multi-market teams, maintaining motivation, and meeting tight deadlines, and ensuring attention to detail throughout campaign delivery. Your talent for translating complex technology into meaningful benefits for business and society, paired with your creative thinking, excellent writing skills, and ability to create and manage budgets are exactly what we need.


We are looking for an expert in B2B and B2C technology media relations and social media, complete with a valuable network of media contacts in the UK and ideally EMEA. We want to hear how your innovative campaign ideas have driven impressive media and digital results.


Our clients and projects are exciting and fast-paced. You must be a quick thinker and strong multi-tasker, ready to staff media events, organise multi-market briefs, and deliver campaign recaps at a moment’s notice.

Responsibilities

  • Client liaison – day-to-day client contact 
  • Proactive thinking – around campaigns and in day-to-day account work 
  • Effective management of the team down, across and up 
  • Demonstration of creative campaign development and presentation, promoting technology solutions to business and consumer audiences via PR and digital routes 
  • Working knowledge of social listening tools 
  • Collaboration with the global account team 
  • Strategic media relations/digital skills and counsel at both a UK and EMEA level 
  • B2B and B2C tech experience is preferred but not essential 
  • Developing and managing multi-market budgets 

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record of working in or with global technology brands, including managing teams and agencies in other EMEA markets 
  • Experience in developing plans which take complex technology and translates it into meaningful benefits for business and potentially consumers 
  • Creative storyteller with a natural curiosity in the arts and broader cultural life and societal trends 
  • Use of digital and other technologies for storytelling and communications 
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and unite teams behind a central concept, with experience of successfully selling in concepts and seeing them through to execution 
  • Strong technology media relations and social media skills and contacts in the B2B and B2C space, having proof of how your feature ideas have translated into media and digital coverage
