OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Account Manager to join our award-winning team in London.

We are seeking a capable and confident operator, with experience managing and activating high profile brand partnerships in sport – specifically in Formula 1.  The role requires an enthusiastic, organised and outgoing leader, who loves to collaborate, innovate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of the sports marketing landscape and the ways brands can leverage partnerships to connect with new audiences and grow their business.

The individual will have experience overseeing and managing a brand’s partnership with a rights holder – from developing a campaign strategy and activation plan, to delivering ideas that grab attention and drive tangible returns.  

They will need to speak confidently to the day-to-day operations of running an account, demonstrate their project management capabilities and share their POV on client servicing best practice.

What does the role involve?

  • Leading the day-to-day management and delivery of the account.
  • Being the main point of contact for the client, local markets, rights holder, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Working with a Senior Account Director to shape the partnership strategy and direction.
  • Collaborating with Brand Consulting functions (Analytics, Strategy, Creative, Experiential) to answer briefs and deliver best-in-class client solutions.
  • Overseeing the delivery of campaign activations and content across multiple channels including events, digital, social, talent, hospitality etc.
  • Establishing account management and client servicing best practices i.e status calls, rights trackers, measurement reports etc.
  • Managing budgets and billing for agency fees, activation and supplier costs.
  • Occasional attendance at races or partner days to manage activity and guests.
     

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have some agency or in-house experience.
  • Formula 1 sponsorship experience is preferable.
  • Exposure to strategic decision making, campaign planning, communications, asset development and amplification, hospitality and event management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a team player, with best-in-class client servicing, account handling and project management
  • Must have an organised and detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Creative flair with a passion for ideas and innovative thinking
  • Confident presentation skills, verbal and written with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience of line management preferable
