We believe it takes great people to create a great product. That’s why our team lives our company values, and we hire based on them, too. Since 2010, Pipedrive has been on a mission to support sales and marketing teams with easy-to-use, powerful tools that make everyday work faster and easier. Today, our cloud-based software is trusted by over 100,000 companies and used in 179 countries. We have grown from a five-person team to a truly international company of over 850+ people, representing more than 50 nationalities, with ten offices distributed across Europe and the US. In 2020, Pipedrive received a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners, a global investment firm that invests exclusively in enterprise software, data and technology-enabled businesses, making Pipedrive the fifth unicorn from Estonia.

We're looking for a SEM Analyst to join our Berlin or London office. In this role, you'll be the analytical backbone of Pipedrive's SEM team - building the data foundation that powers faster, smarter paid search decisions at global scale.

You'll be joining a strong martech environment where our Marketing Analytics team has already built a solid data foundation. Your job isn't to start from scratch; it's to extend and deepen what exists, bringing SEM-specific channel expertise that takes our data capability to the next level. Critically, the infrastructure you build will be what unlocks AI-powered analysis and automation for the entire SEM function - enabling the team to query data, surface insights and act on signals at a speed and scale that wasn't previously possible.

If you enjoy digging into data, uncovering the story behind performance and turning complex datasets into clear actions, we'd love to meet you.

We welcome applications from data or marketing analysts with paid search exposure, as well as SEM specialists who are passionate about moving toward a more analytical and technical track.

Your new adventure:

    Reporting & In-depth Analysis (70%):
  • Build and maintain SEM performance dashboards on top of our existing data infrastructure - clear, reliable and built for both at-a-glance reporting and deep troubleshooting
  • Develop deep expertise in the Google Ads API to unlock granular data at keyword, search term, bid strategy and audience levels - including data not available through standard ingestion tools - building the analytical layer that takes our SEM insight from good to exceptional
  • Go beyond platform-native reporting by joining ad platform data with internal metrics to connect paid search activity to real downstream business outcomes
  • Act as the data requirements translator between the SEM team and Marketing Analytics - defining what we need, why we need it, and how it should be structured so that the wider team can eventually self-serve using AI tools
  • Turn analytical findings into sharp, actionable recommendations the team can act on with confidence
  • Campaign Management (30%):

  • Support the creation, management and optimisation of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Conduct keyword research, ad copy testing, bid management and negative keyword development
  • Monitor campaign performance and flag issues and opportunities proactively
  •

Does this sound like you?

  • 3+ years of experience in a data/marketing analytics or SEM role with a strong focus on reporting and analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL — comfortable writing joins, aggregations and queries against data warehouse tables independently
  • Hands-on experience with Python (Pandas/NumPy) for data manipulation, API integration and workflow automation — including pulling data directly from ad platform APIs
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Looker or Power BI for building production-level dashboards, not just consuming them
  • Comfortable working across multiple data sources — platform APIs, CRM data and internal data warehouse tables
  • Good understanding of Google Ads data — you know what the metrics mean in a paid search context and can translate channel needs into data requirements
  • Experience or genuine interest in using AI tools for data analysis and automation is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with the Google Ads API is a plus
  • A background in maths, computer science, economics or a related field is a plus
  •
