Job Description

Established in 1987, ICTS specialises in the provision of integrated security and customer services within the most demanding environments. Applying our unique concept, ICTS works with a wide variety of organisation types including major public attractions, leisure, financial, retail, public sector, transport and government bodies.

We are currently recruiting for Security Officer's to work on our prestigious contracts in the Hemel Hempstead area.

Working along side the worlds leading online retailer, based at their large fulfilment centres, this is a fast paced environment & would suit experienced individuals who are seeking a role that differs from normal security positions.

You will be working within a small team which will need you to work well together at all times; therefore you will need to be reliable and flexible. These positions are permanent contracts with an Immediate Start

  • Shift pattern 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off

Key Duties

  • Body & Bag searches
  • Access control
  • Foot patrols
  • Communication with other team members and management
  • Support to the Loss Prevention Team
  • Report writing / logging vehicle movement using electronic systems
  • To act within the authorities set out by Managers and the company’s Assignment working procedures;
  • To carry out any other duties as directed by Supervisor or Managers
  • Promote ICTS (UK) & Ireland Ltd positively.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous security experience would be an advantage
  • Flexible team member with the ability to communicate with the client, managers and colleagues.

Essential

  • SIA Door Supervision/Manned Guarding license
  • A good command of the English language
  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Customer service experience
  • High standard of personal appearance
  • Physically fit
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Required licence or certification: SIA Desirable
  • First Aid at Work

A full driving licence is preferred as some sites are not accessible via public transport
