The Role

As a Security Engineer at Capco, you’ll be hands-on in designing and implementing secure cloud and on-premise solutions for our financial services clients. You’ll support security initiatives across engineering teams, contribute to secure development practices, and play a key role in automating threat detection and compliance activities.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement cloud and infrastructure security strategies

• Integrate security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning) into CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with development teams to embed secure coding practices

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, code reviews, and network security audits

• Contribute to data protection strategies including encryption, tokenization, and masking

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of application security tools such as CheckmarxOne, Prisma Cloud, or similar

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and secure cloud design principles

• Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and container security scanning

• Familiarity with data security principles and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP

• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Go

Bonus Points For

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSSLP, CompTIA Security+, cloud-specific certs)

• Understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD automation in secure environments

• Experience conducting code reviews and threat modelling exercises

• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

• Interest in mentoring or knowledge sharing within teams
