So are we. Join Compare the Market and help to make financial decision making a breeze for millions.
At Compare the Market, we’re a purpose-driven business powered by tech and AI. We’re building high-performing, results-driven teams with the skills, mindset, and ambition to deliver outcomes at pace. What you’ll be doing:
- Help evolve our security capabilities as we continue our shift towards AI-enabled security engineering and automation.
- Own and improve vulnerability management processes, helping identify, prioritise and drive remediation of security weaknesses across the business.
- Build and support AI-powered workflows and agentic processes that improve how security issues are identified, investigated and resolved.
- Explore emerging AI capabilities and identify practical opportunities to apply them across security and technology operations.
- Work closely with engineering teams to support the secure adoption of AI technologies and automation across the organisation.
- Build and maintain integrations between security, engineering and operational tooling to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Coordinate external security testing activities, including penetration testing and bug bounty programmes, and work with teams to drive findings through to resolution.
- Support security incident response, helping contain, investigate and resolve security incidents when they occur.
- Use threat intelligence and security insights to help shape priorities and strengthen our overall security posture.
- Partner with engineers, platform teams and technical leaders to embed security into technology delivery and improve security outcomes across the business.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience in security engineering, vulnerability management, cyber operations or a related security discipline.
- Experience owning and driving remediation of security vulnerabilities rather than simply reporting on them.
- An interest in AI and automation, with practical experience using technology to improve operational efficiency or engineering processes.
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, workflows and automation tooling.
- Strong scripting or programming capability, ideally with technologies such as Python, PowerShell or similar.
- Experience coordinating and managing outcomes from penetration tests, bug bounty programmes or other security assessment activities.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud security principles.
- The ability to work across multiple teams and influence security outcomes outside of a traditional security silo.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance security risk with practical business outcomes.
- A curious mindset, a willingness to challenge existing approaches, and a desire to help shape the future of AI-driven security engineering.
Why Compare the Market?
We’re a business built for pace and performance. Here, you’ll be encouraged to think differently, act boldly, and deliver brilliantly in a culture that values results and rewards progress.
