  • Secure Remote Access: Establish secure, auditable remote access solutions for engineers to troubleshoot robots at customer sites without compromising facility network integrity.
  • Network Security: Troubleshoot and harden networking configurations, addressing performance and security challenges in complex industrial environments.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Audit and secure infrastructure deployments using tools like Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
  • Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotations and respond to security-related outages or vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Work closely with customer IT teams to ensure Apptronik's solution meets stringent enterprise security and safety requirements

  • Programming: Proficiency in Python or Go for building security tooling and automation.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and customer empathy to navigate facility-specific security restrictions.
  • Ownership: A self-starter who takes initiative and seeks ownership of the end-to-end security solution.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
  • Technical Background: Demonstrated experience in distributed systems security and cloud-native infrastructure
