The Role
The Sales Development Program at Veeva is a valued program within Veeva and the sales organization. SDP is highly motivated development path from Sales Development Representative to Account Partner. As SDP Manager, you have an opportunity to impact the business through the frontline sales. The SDP Manager will source, onboard, train and foster exceptional talent through a successfully built learning curriculum.
What You'll Do
- Identify top talent, build and scale high performing teams
- Mentor new sales talent and support skill development through the program
- Leverage data and metrics to drive insight, make intelligent personnel decisions and take action quickly
- Coach, mentor and support SDRs and AAPs in their efforts to generate demand and qualify leads to build pipeline opportunities for the sales team
- Collaborate with Sales leaders on business needs, sourcing exceptional talent, onboarding and developing the SDP team
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience with a background in Sales with at least 2 years leading Inside Sales/Sales Development Program
- Experience mentoring new sales talent and support skill development through a program
- Ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insight and make intelligent personnel decisions
- Experience within SaaS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Nice to Have
- Life Science industry experience
- Sold and carried quota in SaaS
