Santander Consumer Finance is one of the UK’s Leading Motor Finance companies and we are currently looking for an OEM Digital Transformation Manager to join the Commercial team and be responsible for defining and delivering digital solutions that support our commercial goals.

The role will require you to work with our OEM partners, with a specific focus on enhancing our D2C (Direct to Customer) digital capabilities as well as supporting OEM marketing activity which may include, but is not limited to; quarterly campaign setting activity, supporting both new and used vehicle management activity, vehicle data mapping, and ensuring appropriate oversight of financial promotions.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK but will require frequent attendance at the Redhill office. This role will come with a car allowance.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for developing and documenting, the following 12Months+ digital D2C roadmap that supports new and existing channel expansion with our OEM partners, including OEM, D2C and other business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) opportunities
  • Develop an annual activity plan outlining timings and high-level deliverables based on the strategic goals established for the role and deliver the agreed plan in line with the prescribed budget through on-going review and monitoring of costs
  • Establishing and maintaining strong, effective and accountable, working relationships with all external partners, including outsourced service providers- ensuring clear communication, defining unambiguous scope objectives and clear timescale management
  • The role also requires strong internal stakeholder management across the Marketing Management team and other SCUK business functions
  • Act as liaison and translator between business and technology stakeholders
  • Define timescales and key deliverables, setting appropriate gateways and achievement targets throughout the project phases and determine key governance milestones to ensure smooth delivery and uninterrupted service to OEM partners
  • Working in close conjunction with the organisation’s IT function to deliver against the agreed timescales and ensuring other business stakeholders are engaged and consulted to support the technology delivery
  • Ensure all activity is carried out in line with the requirements as set out by both legal and regulatory perspectives
  • Adhering to our commitment to Consumer Duty ensuring we put our customers’ needs first and set higher and clearer standards of consumer protection

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working with technology-based projects
  • Must be comfortable with technology and to act as liaison and translator between the business and tech stakeholders
  • Proven experience delivering best in class CX solutions and a strong customer focus.
  • Experience with working collaboratively with strategic partners
  • Experience setting campaign activity, defining product parameters and understanding pricing mechanisms- all within the confines or a rigorous regulatory boundary
  • Strong project management skills and experience and ability to co-ordinate and manage multiple initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and executing digital strategies for D2C or digitally enabled offerings
  • Knowledge of compliance, FCA regulation, and risk principles in financial services Has extensive experience analysing data and MI and extracting the insights that inform and direct effective and intelligent deliverables
  • Must possess first-class written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with, and present to, both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business- including key strategic partners
