The role of the Brand Marketing Manager is to work closely with the commercial and marketing teams of our emerging brand partners. You will establish strong working relationships with our OEM Partners. The role requires some occasional national travel to meet the brand partners, but you will be predominantly based in our office in Redhill. The key purpose of the role is to act as the day-to-day marketing interface between the OEM and SCUK, and to build a strong working relationship through the delivery of a coordinated and integrated approach to all marketing related activity.
Please note this role is a hybrid role with at least 3 days a week in the Redhill office. Remote workers will not be considered.
Responsibilities will include:
Under the guidance of line management and working closely with the brands deliver the financial services business development strategy across all key marketing functions.
Develop an annual activity plan outlining timings, costs and high-level deliverables based on the strategic goals established for the role with line management.
Using the wider business MI, deliver the key performance indicators to brands to ensure trends, successes and challenges are well understood and so that appropriate action can be taken.
Work closely with the brands Sales & Marketing functions to develop, build, test and deliver finance lead consumer offerings as part of the quarterly marketing campaigns.
Working alongside the Channel Development Team drive the delivery of the online sales strategy through integration of finance calculator, apply online and any other future prescribed functionality into the brand’s website.
In conjunction with the Marketing, Communications and CRM Team, adapt, refine and deliver the customer communication plan in line with overall customer management and renewals strategy, and support future development of the dealer network through the Gateway customer renewals program.
Assist in the development of any new finance or related products, act as conduit for feedback on existing products, producing recommendations for product enhancements, as agreed by line management.
Responsible for developing (through managing external suppliers), point of sale or other marketing collateral as deemed necessary and in line with Global Brand Guidelines.
Provide guidance & appropriate records management for any financial promotions produced by the brands. Ensure decisions are within policy, adhere to processes & guidelines, and within overall business risk appetite.
Deal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to Santander Consumer risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the Santander UK group risk framework
Carry out any other tasks from time to time as may reasonably be requested by line management.

What we’re looking for:
Has worked within an automotive related financial services industry or has worked in a motor manufacturer sales and marketing environment for a minimum of 3 years.
Would benefit from either having worked in an agency environment or worked closely with external marketing agencies.
Is able to produce sound working documentation and presentations, including business case proposals, briefs and business presentations.
Has an appreciation and working knowledge of legal, regulatory and compliance issues corresponding with the operation of a business regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Previous experience and/or working knowledge of financial promotions is advantageous
Has a passion or interest in the automotive sector is desirable
It is expected that any candidate can display a good understanding of the general market sector, can exhibit sound business acumen, have excellent interpersonal skills and is comfortable and confident when dealing with senior management as necessary.
Has experience or knowledge of electric vehicles and the sector is desirable
