Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach distributed teams on Agile and SAFe practices. Support Product Owners and developers with planning, prioritization, delivery, impediment removal, conflict resolution, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement. Help establish and ramp up a new Scrum team within a large-scale Agile environment while monitoring scope, timelines, quality, dependencies, and release goals.
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support the ramp-up of a new team and help establish an effective Agile way of working. The ideal candidate will provide strong guidance, facilitate collaboration and decision-making, and support the team in continuously improving its delivery and performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate the Scrum process within distributed teams, ensuring effective Agile practices and ceremonies.
- Organize and facilitate Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews/Demos, Retrospectives, and other relevant Agile sessions.
- Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles, practices, and continuous improvement.
- Support the Product Owner and Development Team in planning, prioritization, delivery, and achieving Sprint and release goals.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, conflict resolution, and effective collaboration across different stakeholders.
- Identify, manage, and remove impediments that may slow down development or delivery.
- Monitor day-to-day progress of projects and release initiatives, with focus on scope, timelines, quality, and dependencies.
- Ensure alignment with other Scrum teams and broader organizational Agile guidelines, best practices, and processes.
- Help build a trusting, safe, and transparent team environment where issues can be openly raised and collaboratively resolved.
- Support the team in reaching a high level of autonomy, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the successful setup and ramp-up of a new Scrum team within a large-scale Agile environment, including alignment with SAFe practices
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Leader, or similar Agile role.
- Hands-on experience working with Scrum in distributed teams.
- Knowledge and practical experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Experience working in a large-scale Agile environment is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in facilitation, conflict resolution, situational awareness, team empowerment, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with different personalities, teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Very good spoken and written English skills.
- Previous experience in the airline industry is an advantage.
