THINGS YOU WILL DO    

Role purpose Own the end-to-end shaping and delivery of change by combining Business Analysis (problem definition, requirements, value) with Scrum Mastery (team facilitation, flow, continuous improvement) to deliver outcomes at pace and with quality.

● Partner with stakeholders to clarify objectives, scope, success measures, and benefits.

● Elicit and document requirements using workshops, interviews, and data/process analysis.

● Translate needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria; ensure stories meet INVEST.

● Define and maintain process maps (as-is/to-be), business rules, and decision logs.

● Identify and document non-functional requirements (performance, resilience, security, auditability) and operational impacts.

● Support prioritisation with Product Owner/Business Owner; manage scope and change control.

● Enable testing and adoption: support UAT, training needs, comms, and release readiness.

● Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Planning, Daily, Refinement, Review, Retro.

● Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum practices and continuous improvement.

● Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and drive timely escalation where needed.

● Protect the team from unplanned work; promote sustainable pace and predictable delivery.

● Establish and maintain Definition of Ready/Done, working agreements, and quality practices.

● Track and improve delivery metrics.

● Coordinate across technology, operations, risk/compliance, and change/release teams.

● Maintain RAID, dependency mapping, and delivery plans aligned to governance expectations.

● Ensure traceability from requirement → build → test → release; support audit-ready documentation.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE 

● Proven experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master (or Agile Delivery Lead) in Agile teams.

● Strong facilitation, workshop leadership, and stakeholder management across senior audiences.

● Requirements and analysis techniques: user story mapping, MoSCoW, 5 Whys.

● Delivery tooling: Jira/Confluence (or equivalent); strong written communication.

● Metrics and flow understanding: burndown/burnup, cumulative flow, lead/cycle time.

● Nice-to-have: SQL/data analysis, banking/financial services domain knowledge, scaling delivery across multiple teams.

● Process artefacts: as-is/to-be flows, business rules, NFR catalogue.

● Agile artefacts: sprint goals, DoR/DoD, team working agreements, improvement actions.

● Delivery controls: RAID, dependency map, dashboards/metrics, release readiness/UAT support.

● Clear, testable requirements with minimal rework.

● Improved delivery predictability and reduced cycle time.

● High stakeholder satisfaction and smooth releases/adoption.

● Continuous improvement actions implemented and evidenced.
