Global Transaction Banking (GTB), housed within SCIB, serves as the central hub for originating transaction-driven opportunities across Cash Management, Basic Lending, Export Solutions, and Working Capital Solutions. GTB supports a broad and diverse client landscape, spanning Banking & Corporate Finance (BCF) UK and Multinationals and International Financial Institutions UK (IFI).

Within this platform, Cash Management delivers a comprehensive suite of treasury solutions designed to help corporates optimise the way they manage accounts, payments, collections, and liquidity—ensuring operational efficiency and robust financial control.

Key activities

  • Lead the design, development and execution of Santander’s cash management strategy across the Middle East, positioning the bank as a trusted partner for corporates operating or expanding in the region.
  • Establish and nurture deep relationships with senior treasury and finance decision-makers, actively identifying areas where Santander’s global capabilities can bring meaningful value to Middle Eastern corporates and multinational organisations.
  • Provide specialist support to coverage teams on complex, cross-border and strategic opportunities, offering expert structuring insight, market guidance, and commercially sound product recommendations.
  • Act as the regional thought leader—combining commercial leadership, client engagement, product expertise and strategic oversight—to ensure Santander delivers a distinctive and competitive proposition.
  • Lead informed client discussions on liquidity management, payments, collections, treasury centralisation and digital solutions, while partnering closely with working capital teams to align strategies and optimise end-to-end client outcomes.

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Strong experience selling cash management solutions to global corporates
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of Cash Management products and services
  • Fluent English written, verbal and presentation skills.

Desirable:

  • Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject (Engineering, Finance, Science, and Mathematics)
  • ACT Cert ICM / ACIB qualification
  • SWIFT accredited practitioner
  • Written and Spoken Spanish language skills
  • Other European language skills

This role is based in our Triton Square office in London, conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.
