Savings Operations Associate

We recently acquired a savings company to help us capture customers earlier in their home buying journey, nurture them through saving for a deposit and ultimately to match them with the best mortgage product to get them onto the ladder more quickly.  Our savings business is growing very rapidly and we’ve recently launched a Cash ISA to complement our existing Lifetime ISA products.  We have huge plans for new products and innovation in the future.

Our platform combines market-leading savings products, like the Lifetime ISA, with innovative mortgage solutions to help first-time buyers and homeowners make smarter financial decisions. Now, we're looking for a Savings Operations Associate to help us run the engine room of our savings platform.

🚀 What you’ll be doing:

As a key member of our Savings Operations team, you’ll help us run a smooth and compliant operation behind the scenes of our ISA products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Money movement & instructions: Initiating and monitoring the movement of funds into and out of our platform, ensuring speed, accuracy and full compliance.

• Processing customer transactions: Managing deposits, transfers in/out, and interest payments within our savings products, particularly Lifetime ISAs and Cash ISAs.

• Reconciliation & balancing: Supporting daily and monthly reconciliations of our savings book, working closely with our finance and compliance teams.

• Contribution & Direct Debit runs: Coordinating direct debit schedules and ensuring accurate money allocation in partnership with our Lifetime ISA administrator.

• Process improvement: Collaborating with the Product and Operations teams to refine existing processes and define new ones, helping us scale efficiently and reduce manual work.

We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a good understanding of operational processes in financial services, and an appetite to improve how things are done.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have experience working in operations in a financial services or fintech environment, ideally with exposure to savings, ISAs, or payments.

• Are highly organised, reliable and diligent about following processes and controls.

• Are confident working with numbers and using spreadsheets to check balances and support reconciliation tasks.

• Are proactive and comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering and external partners.

• Enjoy spotting inefficiencies and proposing improvements that save time and reduce risk.

🔧 Bonus points if you:

• Have experience working with a Lifetime ISA manager or administrator.

• Understand ISA regulations or have worked with regulated savings products.

• Have been involved in the implementation or upgrade of back-office financial operations systems.

Location: Hybrid, with an office in Central London (typically once a week in the office).
