Salesforce Solutions Sales Manager / Account Executive

Location: London, UK (or within commuting distance)
Salary: £95k base salary
OTE: to 100% of base salary
Type: Permanent

Our client, a growing global services and solutions consultancy, is looking for an out-and-out door-opener and deal closer, generating new business through the Salesforce ecosystem and selling Salesforce cloud solutions into retail, consumer goods, and/or FMCG companies.

Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Salesforce Solutions Sales Manager / Account Executive to drive new business growth across the UK market.

This is a pure hunting role focused on developing opportunities through the Salesforce partner ecosystem, building relationships with Salesforce stakeholders, and winning new Salesforce implementation and cloud transformation engagements.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, generating net-new business, and selling Salesforce solutions into enterprise organisations.

Although backed by an efficient marketing operation, the role is stand-alone within the company. Because you will be responsible for starting the sales process, you will need to have an existing “black book” of decision-maker contacts within the relevant industry markets who will take your call - starting from scratch isn’t an option here. Likewise you will need to have the patience, persistence, determination, and general people skills to see the sales process through to completion and get deals over the line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through proactive sales activity.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce Account Executives, Regional Vice Presidents, and other key Salesforce stakeholders.

  • Build a consistent pipeline of Salesforce cloud and transformation opportunities.

  • Engage with prospective clients across Retail, Consumer Goods and FMCG sectors.

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract signature.

  • Collaborate closely with internal delivery and leadership teams to shape winning propositions.

  • Attend Salesforce offices and events regularly to strengthen ecosystem relationships and generate opportunities.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed annual sales targets.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience selling Salesforce solutions, Salesforce consulting services, or Salesforce cloud offerings.

  • Strong track record in new business acquisition ("hunter" mentality).

  • Experience carrying a significant sales quota, ideally generating multiple millions in annual revenue.

  • Demonstrated success selling into enterprise customers.

  • Existing relationships within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Experience working with Retail, Consumer Goods, FMCG or similar sectors.

  • Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A genuine new-business hunter rather than an account manager or farmer.

  • Comfortable prospecting, networking and creating opportunities from scratch.

  • Well connected within Salesforce UK.

  • Credible with senior business stakeholders and technology leaders.

  • Driven by targets and commercial success.

  • Able to operate independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Sector Focus

Priority sectors include:

  • Retail

  • Consumer Goods

  • FMCG

Experience of selling Salesforce solutions into these industries is going to be required.

Location Requirement

Candidates should be based in London or within reasonable commuting distance.

Success in this role is heavily dependent on maintaining a visible presence within the Salesforce ecosystem, including regular attendance at Salesforce Tower and face-to-face engagement with Salesforce stakeholders.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: £90,000–£100,000

  • OTE: 100% of base salary

  • Total Package: £180,000–£200,000

Success Measures

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Build a strong pipeline of Salesforce opportunities.

  • Generate significant new revenue.

  • Leverage Salesforce ecosystem relationships to create opportunities.

  • Deliver against a multi-million-pound sales target.

  • Become a trusted partner to Salesforce account teams and leadership.
