About the role

The Salesforce Solution Architect will lead the architectural design and technical direction of the Salesforce platform across Sales, Renewals, and Marketing functions. This role ensures that Salesforce is scalable, secure, and fully integrated within the wider enterprise ecosystem, enabling a robust foundation for global business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the architectural vision and roadmap for Salesforce across Sales, Renewals, and Marketing cloud solutions.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with enterprise standards and global rollout objectives.
  • Act as the technical design authority, ensuring consistency across architecture patterns, guardrails, and development frameworks.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate commercial and operational needs into scalable and sustainable technical designs.
  • Oversee integration between Salesforce and wider enterprise systems (ERP, data lake, analytics, and identity platforms).
  • Define and maintain technical standards, development best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure platform consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Security and Data teams to embed enterprise-grade security, data protection, and privacy controls.
  • Drive innovation by leveraging AI and automation to optimise processes, improve user productivity, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure platform readiness and technical alignment for future global rollouts, including localisation, scalability, and performance management.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural intent and delivery excellence.

Essential Criteria

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect in large-scale Salesforce environments (Sales, Service, Marketing, or Revenue Cloud), with deep knowledge of Salesforce technologies including API integrations, Lightning, Flow, and Data Cloud.
  • Strong enterprise architecture background, including integration design, data management, and defining architectural standards, guardrails, and patterns for global deployments.
  • Experience designing secure, compliant, and scalable architectures for regulated or global organizations, leveraging AI and automation tools within Salesforce (Agentforce, Einstein, Tableau, or external frameworks) and applying agentic AI and process automation to practical challenges.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic plans and deliver outcomes on enterprise-scale projects.
  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, experienced in bridging technical and business conversations.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect strongly preferred.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in enterprise-scale B2B or subscription-based businesses.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native development principles.
  • Knowledgeable in data integration with marketing automation, CPQ, or renewal management systems.
