Job Description
Salesforce Product Manager
We know that people want great value combined with an excellent experience from a bank they can trust, so we launched our digital bank, Chase UK, to revolutionise mobile banking with seamless journeys that our customers love. We're already trusted by millions in the US and we're quickly catching up in the UK - but how we do things here is a little different. We're building the bank of the future from scratch, channelling our start-up mentality every step of the way - meaning you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact.
As a Salesforce Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.
Our Product team is at the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. We're looking for people who have a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. By their nature, our people are also solution-oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. We work in tribes and squads that focus on specific products and projects - and depending on your strengths and interests, you'll have the opportunity to move between them.
Job responsibilities:
- Assume the role of Nutmeg's primary Salesforce SME and advocate the use of Salesforce to solve business problems wherever appropriate
- Raise awareness of the full suite of Salesforce's features and collaborate with colleagues to help them leverage these
- Demonstrate commercial acumen by building strong business cases that define the product's success criteria
- Define and manage a highly organised roadmap and supporting backlog to ensure your team is delivering products that will most positively impact customers and the business
- Be passionate about the Product Development process, always striving to improve how products are built to ensure teams operate to their maximum effectiveness and efficiency
- Promote innovation in product design, always being mindful of, and working within, the framework of a strong financial compliance regime
- Take ultimate responsibility for product decisions, and be prepared to justify those decisions to all levels in the business
- Support and motivate the Engineering teams with clear and achievable deliverables
- Participate in agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, planning meetings, retrospectives
- Balance business and technical objectives and translate these as clear priorities for the Engineering team
- Be the glue among departments and create shared understanding by translating ideas & concepts into technical or layman's terms
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- At least one Salesforce certification (Administrator, Consultant or Business Analyst preferred)
- Proven expertise with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- An analytical problem solver who knows and employs all declarative automation and Salesforce ecosystem features
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Product Management experience preferably gained within Financial Services, ideally within wealth or asset management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience delivering complex projects that impact multiple teams
- Familiar with governance procedures and practices typical of a tier-1 investment bank
- Knowledge of UK retail investing including tax wrappers is advantageous
- Experience or knowledge of financial guidance and advice, and the difference between them.
