As a Salesforce Platform Architect, you will be the technical champion for our Salesforce ecosystem. You’ll promote and govern IT principles, standards, and architecture & design frameworks while shaping Salesforce-centric digital transformation strategies across the enterprise.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Architectural Authority for the Salesforce platform, guiding internal teams and engaging with vendors, SIs, and external Salesforce communities.
  • Champion Salesforce best practices and platform governance, developing and maintaining architecture principles, standards, reusable design patterns, and development guidelines.
  • Lead solution design workshops and technical discovery sessions with stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to define scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
  • Build and maintain the Salesforce architecture roadmap, aligning with enterprise strategy and upcoming Salesforce capabilities (e.g., AI, MuleSoft, Tableau).
  • Provide technical leadership and governance across Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) and enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating new Salesforce technologies and AppExchange solutions to solve emerging business needs.
  • Proactively reduce technical debt, driving continuous platform improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to GDPR, ISO, and internal data protection policies.
  • Govern cross-functional and enterprise integrations, acting as Salesforce Design Authority and ensuring seamless interaction with other platforms.
  • Mentor and coach Salesforce architects, developers, and administrators, fostering a strong technical community and enforcing adherence to standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, integration specs, and governance policies.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering Salesforce solutions at scale across Sales (including CPQ), Service, Marketing, or Experience Clouds.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce technologies: Apex (incl. FFLib), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow Builder, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and API integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, performance optimization, and data modeling.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level projects and delivering impactful business outcomes.
  • Skilled in Force.com, Heroku, and the broader Salesforce ecosystem including Partner/AppExchange solutions.
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Proficient in enterprise architecture disciplines: integration design, relational database modeling, web services, and data migration.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions, align cross-functional teams, and drive platform adoption.
  • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred: Application Architect, System Architect, B2C Solution Architect, Integration Architect.
