We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Functional Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successful Salesforce implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Gathering:
- Facilitate and lead functional workshops with business users to elicit, document, and refine business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for Salesforce optimisation.
- Create detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Salesforce Configuration:
- Design and configure Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud applications to meet business requirements, leveraging out-of-the-box functionalities.
- Customise Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules to align with business processes.
- Implement data management strategies, including data import, export, and cleansing.
- Solution Design:
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Develop and document detailed design specifications, including process flows and data mapping.
- Provide recommendations for Salesforce best practices and configuration standards.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
- Provide status updates to stakeholders and project teams.
- Line manage technical resources and work in a global matrix structure.
- User Training and Adoption:
- Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions to enhance user adoption.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve Salesforce processes and user experience.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to optimise Salesforce utilisation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Functional Lead with at least five years hands-on Salesforce implementation experience.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud functionalities and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members.
- Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and Experience Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce configuration tools and APIs.
- Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange applications.
- Understanding of integration with other systems.
- CPQ experience beneficial.
