About the team and role

IT Digital Delivery

The Digital Delivery team at GBG is at the heart of transforming how we work, powering the systems, data, and technology that enable our global business to grow, innovate, and serve our customers better. Salesforce Administrator

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, and support of the Salesforce platform. As part of the Salesforce Centre of Excellence (CoE), this role ensures the stability, usability, and security of Salesforce environments, while supporting business users with queries, enhancements, and issue resolution.

The Salesforce Administrator plays a key role in platform operations, user management, data optimisation and ongoing improvements to deliver a robust and efficient CRM experience aligned with business objectives.

What you will do

Salesforce Management & Support

  • Manage user accounts, roles, permission sets, profiles, and security settings.
  • Handle day-to-day support requests and system administration tasks.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct routine maintenance, and manage scheduled jobs.
  • Perform data imports, deduplication, and data quality checks.

Configuration & Enhancement

  • Configure objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and list views.
  • Build reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Create and maintain declarative automation such as validation rules, workflows, and flows.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and deployment of configuration changes.

Training & Documentation

  • Provide training and guidance to users across teams to ensure effective platform use.
  • Maintain platform documentation including configuration records, user guides, and FAQs.
  • Contribute to user onboarding and platform adoption activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users and technical teams to relay feedback and enhancement opportunities.
Skills we are looking for

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience administering Salesforce environments (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Revenue Cloud).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce standard functionality and configuration tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and support requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Data Loader).

Desirable Skills

  • Relevant Salesforce Certifications.
  • Experience with user training or platform adoption initiatives.
  • Experience with Apex, SOQL, LWC, or Visualforce development.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Gearset, Copado, or SFDX.
  • Experience working with Agile, product-centric delivery models, or CoEs.
