The Manager of Sales Development will lead the team most responsible for bringing the message of digital accessibility to progressive companies across the world. This individual will lead a group of highly motivated sales development professionals in an effort to source and engage high potential prospects while also developing processes to accelerate and fine-tune Level Access’s go-to-market efforts. Your team will be the first point of contact with potential customers; running the gamut from qualified leads actively seeking accessibility services to building account penetration plans to effectively prospect into complex companies, you and your team will manage the critical role of being the first impression that Level Access brings to a curious and enthusiastic market. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Sales Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help set the vision, strategy, and priorities for the Level Access Sales Development team
  • Lead an effective outbound prospecting strategy, including driving effectiveness with key platforms (Outreach + Sales Navigator), optimizing go-to-market messaging, setting daily/weekly structure, managing to key prospecting KPIs and more
  • Coach relentlessly; be passionate about the development of your people and create a constant culture of coaching excellence and inescapable, positive leadership
  • Work with Marketing team to refine lead handoff between Marketing & Sales Development team, ultimately striving for high quality lead generation and conversion to qualified opportunities.
  • Develop SDRs for their next role in the organization through a career pathing plan
  • Drive a high-performance culture within your SDR team. Hold reps accountable for hitting daily/monthly activity and performance goals 
  • Utilize key performance metrics for coaching, quality assurance, and performance management
  • Assist in identifying lead sources, constructing prospect lists, shadowing and scoring calls, working through prospect objections and performing other activities that will grow new business pipeline 
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on team’s performance as well as accurate forecasts based on individual SDR performance and historical trends using Salesforce.com
  • Lead headcount planning efforts to attract and recruit top tier talent
  • Create an exciting, ambitious and fun sales culture within a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years management experience in a sales environment
  • Strong understanding of SDR skill set, including but not limited to: cold calling/emailing, time management, operating cadence, qualification tactics, objection handling 
  • Passionate about coaching and developing people
  • Willing to lead from the front and spend hands-on time with team members in an effort to overcome obstacles
  • Intellectual curiosity; a passion for identifying issues impacting productivity and a willingness to project manage process improvements from start to finish
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

Nice to haves

  • Sales methodology training (e.g. Challenger, TAS, MEDDIC)
  • Understanding of, and experience with Marketing Automation solutions (e.g. Pardot, Marketo)
  • Experience working with Conversational intelligence tools (e.g. Conversation AI, Intercom, Drift)
  • Experience working with sales engagement platform (e.g. ringDNA, SalesLoft, Outreach)
