Overview

The primary role of the Sales Support Specialist is supporting the Inside and Field Sales organization while focusing on providing exceptional customer experiences to Global Knowledge clients. This position is responsible and accountable for the order to invoice process with a commitment to delivering operational excellence. This individual will work closely with Leadership, Sales, Partners and Vendors and Internal departments regarding various program processes, end to end order process and procedures, training schedules, account maintenance, data validation and relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • The Specialist is responsible for documenting and understanding the order management processes for various customer enrollments and prepay purchases.
  • Processing new orders for enrollments or events
  • Identifying and implementing process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency.
  • Verifies customer information and maintains an audit trail of the order management process to ensure data integrity.
  • Coordination with Sales and other departments to resolve order processing and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Month-end reporting, analyzing sales data, and providing necessary documentation for audits.
  • Other projects as needed

Here’s What We Are Searching For:

Skills & Qualification Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of customer or sales support experience is required, with a preference for those having a background in training or professional services
  • Minimum two (2) years - experience working with sales channels
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and abilities
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Proficient in researching, writing, editing, and proofreading

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with major ERP systems (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
