Job Description

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the office.
• Meet with customers on-site and travel as required.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships within the industry.
• Manage and maintain the existing customer database.
• Develop new supplier and customer relationships through cold calling, emails, and site visits as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and ensure accurate invoicing to successfully close sales.
• Identify and understand customer needs.
• Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure reasonable delivery timelines are met.
• Evaluate projects and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Develop and implement effective sales methodologies.
• Prepare, present, and negotiate contractual agreements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth.
• Monitor and follow up on customer orders.
• Maintain strong relationships with active customers.
• Prepare cost analysis reports.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP), College Diploma (DEC), or Certificate in Administration, Sales, or a related field.
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a good driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the mining industry.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, including a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Permanent, full-time position.
