The Sales and Planning Lead will report to the Director of International Sales & Planning and will have the opportunity to help create and position compelling media proposals to drive revenue growth and provide best-in-class customer service to the Sales organisation. The Sales and Planning Lead will work alongside talented individuals who will both inspire and challenge them to think about strategic sales planning, inventory forecasting/utilisation, and ad product pricing/packaging in ways they hadn’t imagined. At the same time, they will be responsible for operationalising our business, both for our direct sales team and with our re-seller partners. This will require high levels of attention to detail and an ability to work efficiently to help the team manage incoming business and respond effectively to our clients.

As a member of the team, you will:

  • Create & revise compelling and sellable media plans and proposals in the pre-sale process for our direct sales team in the UK
  • Manage and operationalise campaigns sold via our 3rd party re-sellers in Europe
  • Have knowledge of all historical rates by client for proposal creation
  • Attend all necessary RFP brainstorm meetings to provide insight on pricing, packaging, and inventory requirements for media proposals
  • Ensure all data is accurately entered and updated in Boostr
  • Handle post-sale revisions
  • Forecast inventory availability for a variety of media products
  • Work closely with the Sales & Planning Director to track and monitor inventory
  • Work closely with the Sales & Planning Director to identify and package sponsorship and artist franchise opportunities for the sales team to take to market
  • Manage upfront rates & upfront spend tracking
  • Work with Ad Ops to pull tear-sheets & update reporting for key campaigns and clients
  • Manage the artist list creation & discussions with clients in coordination with Inventory & Sales, including ComScore Artist Pulls/Rankers
  • Make strategic pricing decisions in the Scatter market with management oversight and guidance
  • Utilise your PowerPoint and creative skills to support management with projects when required

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience at a media or advertising company
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  • High level understanding of media math, media proposal composition and Nielsen/Comscore data ratings
  • A plus if you have knowledge of Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel, Boostr & YT Analytics
  • Not required, but experience working with dynamic digital products such as: Sponsorships, Audience Guarantee, Viewability & Programmatic would be desirable
  • You have experience taking fun seriously, cheering up your teammates when they need some positive encouragement, and you naturally understand that work isn’t work when you love what you do 

This is a full-time position based on-site/in our London office. Vevo currently operates in a hybrid work model and requires all employees, who have not been designated as "remote" to be in the office/studio a minimum of 3 days a week.
