At OakNorth, we’re on a mission to empower the UK’s most ambitious businesses. Since 2015, we’ve lent over $18 billion across the UK and US, helped create more than 58,000 new homes and 36,000 new jobs, and supported hundreds of thousands of personal savers — all while fuelling the UK economy.

We pride ourselves on a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture — hungry, ambitious, and flexible — and we want to build processes that scale.

We are hiring a Sales Enablement Manager to be the first dedicated hire supporting our sales organisation, working alongside our Chief Lending Officer and reporting into our Director of Lending Strategy.

This role will be a hands-on individual contributor who bridges sales, product, and operations, ensuring that our originators and support teams have the tools, training, and data to succeed.

The role combines Sales Operations (CRM adoption, process design, data quality) with Sales Enablement (onboarding, training materials, playbooks). You’ll work across both the UK and US sales teams, ensuring consistency and accelerating ramp-up as we scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive adoption of and lead best practice in use of CRM – automations, workflows, data accuracy and integrity
  • Develop and maintain CRM dashboards and reports for various stakeholder groups – supporting on sales tracking and pipeline management
  • Analyse sales data from Salesforce and the end-to-end tech stack to drive insights and provide recommendations around sales processes, and track the impact of these initiatives against key sales metrics
  • Drive feedback loops between sales, market, product, and tech to drive improved performance in the system, and of the end-to-end sales process
  • Deliver comprehensive enablement programs – onboarding new starters, building scalable playbooks, developing an ongoing learning program to drive improvement across teams and reduced time to ramp

What We’re Looking For:

  • A track record of delivering improved sales performance, with prior experience in either Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, or RevOps roles
  • Proven track record of CRM adoption and process rollout, ideally with Salesforce.
  • Experience building onboarding programs, training content, and playbooks.
  • Strong analytical skills — confident with Excel/Sheets and Salesforce reporting.
  • Excellent communicator who can influence and coach sales teams.
  • Hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a scaling business with ambiguity.
  • Financial services, fintech, or lending background a plus (but not mandatory).

Traits That Will Help You Succeed:

  • Commercially aware — understands lending/deal cycles and can speak the sales team’s language.
  • Player-coach — balances listening and guiding; credible with both originators and leadership.
  • Builder mentality — thrives on creating structure where little exists.
  • Pragmatic — can design processes that stick, without adding unnecessary friction

Benefits and Perks:

  • Equity. We want people to have a stake in the business so that all our interests are aligned.
  • 25 days holiday
  • Personalized benefits – opt-in to what matters to you
  • Subsidised Private Medical Insurance with Bupa
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • Wellbeing and social events
  • In-house Barista Bar in London office
  • Support causes that matter to you – Volunteering time off
  • Salary sacrifice schemes (Cycle to work, nursery, gym, electric car scheme)
