The Sales and Marketing Intern will be integral in driving the success of our sales and marketing efforts through a range of impactful tasks designed to enhance brand awareness, boost customer engagement, and propel sales. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for marketing strategies, sales tactics, and digital media. Working collaboratively with team members, they will be expected to make significant contributions to our marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.

We are seeking ambitious early-career sales professionals with foundational marketing exposure who understand modern marketing strategies, and thrive in a performance-driven environment. Success in this role requires energy, resilience, discipline, and exceptional professionalism in client interactions.

This is a structured Internnship Program internship. It is intentionally designed to identify, train, evaluate, and fast-track high-potential, results-driven individuals into full-time Sales and Marketing roles at CloudPlexo, with clear progression into advanced sales positions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Assist in lead generation and prospecting through research, cold calls, and outreach.
  • Support the sales team by maintaining CRM data and preparing reports.
  • Help track sales performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in client meetings or calls to observe and assist in sales strategies.

Marketing Support:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling content for digital marketing platforms (social media, blog, email campaigns).
  • Contribute to market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback gathering.
  • Help manage and optimize online marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media advertising).
  • Support the execution of events, webinars, or promotional activities (either online or in-person).
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements.

Data and Analytics:

  • Collect and analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Help prepare performance reports and insights to improve future campaigns.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to optimize marketing strategies and sales processes.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the wider service teams to ensure alignment across sales and marketing efforts.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations.


Requirements
  • Required Experience: 0-1 years of professional experience in a marketing, sales, customer service, or high-volume communications role. We welcome fresh graduates and individuals with a strong aptitude for sales who are eager to learn and prove themselves.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated high energy, a strong competitive spirit, and an aptitude for a 'hunter' mentality essential for building a sales pipeline from scratch.

  • Exceptional client-facing skills and professional demeanor with the ability to engage confidently.

  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

  • Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.

  • A proactive, results-oriented attitude with the discipline to manage a fast-paced, goal-driven workflow.
