The International Television division is responsible for the distribution of NBCU's film and TV product to television and new media customers in all markets outside North America.
Within International Television, the International Digital Distribution team has specific responsibility for growing distribution in these markets, including managing on-going customer relationships to maximise revenue.
Job Description
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for identifying the best licensees to partner with, and for negotiating agreements that achieve the annual targets assigned to the licensing out of NBCUniversal's entertainment content on Home Video in select International markets. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for sourcing and approving artwork requests for Global Licensees, liaising with HQ Finance, Marketing and Legal where appropriate.
The role will report into the Licensing Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Licensee Management: Sales and management of third party International Title Licensees
  • Identify revenue opportunities by liaising with key stakeholders, including Global HQ and the Territory Licensing commercial team, to ascertain titles and rights that can be exploited to drive forecasted OCF
  • Liaise with Legal & Business Affairs to ensure compliance and process/audit requirements are met
  • Prepare periodic business updates on deal status and market developments
  • Drive deal rigour; ensure assets are secured, MG's are invoiced and all stakeholders approve (as required) deal terms
  • Marketing Key point of contact for all Marketing activities for Title Licensee customers
  • Manage and approve all Licensee promotion and publicity opportunities
  • Source and approve all artwork and assets for Licensee releases
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in London and LA on dating and approvals
  • Preparing powerpoint title decks for International film festivals


Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in a commercial environment
  • Strong understanding of brand and property positioning
  • Numerate, and experience of deal negotiation and/or customer management
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills at all levels in the organisation
  • A can-do attitude, a team player, an energizing self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Industry knowledge
