Our client is a fast-paced, growth-focused marketing agency dedicated to helping their clients scale their businesses through having an impact on sales via innovative and data-driven marketing strategies. 

They are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our growth marketing agency in the UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and fostering long-term relationships. This role combines a fixed base salary with a lucrative commission structure, providing ample opportunity to earn based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team revenue targets.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in industries aligned with the agency's expertise.
  • Build a pipeline of qualified leads based on predetermined criteria through networking, outreach, and industry events, desktop research via the use of tools such as Hubspot, Apollo, etc.

Client Acquisition and Management:

  • Initiate contact through various channels, including but not limited to email, phone calls, social media, and physical meetings. 
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Evaluate prospects to determine their fit as potential customers.
  • Gather essential information about the prospect's business, goals, and challenges.
  • Conduct fact-finding and discovery meetings with prospects.
  • Establish rapport and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and pitches to communicate the agency's value proposition effectively.
  • Negotiate and develop contracts, pricing, and service level agreements, to establish performance expectations, ensuring a win-win relationship.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and deliverables.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the marketing and account management teams to align on client goals and campaigns.
  • Work with the larger sales team to develop proposals for the UK market and close leads. 
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to the leadership team.
  • Track sales metrics and performance using CRM tools and provide actionable insights for improvement.

Market Knowledge:

  • Conduct market research to understand the sectors we can target in the UK. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Use insights to position the agency’s services as innovative and market-leading solutions.

Closing and Invoicing

  • Guide prospects through the closing process, ensuring a seamless transition to becoming a client.
  • Finalize project details, including timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage invoicing and payment processes, ensuring timely payments.

Onboarding and Client Relations

  • Facilitate a smooth transition by handing over closed deals to account managers and ensuring they understand the deliverables of the retainer/project.
  • Collaborate with account managers in exceptional cases that require your expertise in client relations.


Requirements

1. Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience, ideally within a marketing, advertising, or digital agency.

2. Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of growth marketing strategies and digital marketing services.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
