The Company

Abtrace is a health tech company based in London, with a team of doctors, researchers, developers and data scientists that bring together software engineering, machine learning expertise and medical experience to build clinical algorithms to support primary care clinicians.


The team is dedicated to creating digital health software to deliver Population Health interventions individualized to patients. This involves the continuous scanning of the entire health record of a patient to detect signals of deterioration, early onset of new disease and opportunities for preventative interventions.


We work with over 250 primary care practices covering 2.5 million patients.


The Role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to play a crucial role in identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role involves active prospecting, product demonstration, effective communication, and a focus on driving revenue growth.

What you will do

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify potential clients through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct product presentations to potential clients.
  • Demonstrate the features and benefits of the product.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and quotas.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Close sales and secure contracts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback on market needs and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Experienced in selling a digital health or Medtech device into the NHS, and in particular, primary care.
  • Track record of hitting sales targets selling a software product.
  • Experience in cold-calling and email outreach.
  • Demonstrable understanding of GP’s pain points and ability to open conversations.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Customer Relationship Management).
  • Proactive and self-driven approach to sales.
  • Ability to identify and address client concerns or objections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for sales
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

The position requires a proactive and motivated individual with a keen understanding of the NHS.
