Anaqua is seeking a driven and consultative Sales Manager to drive new business growth across corporate accounts within the assigned European territory. This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role responsible for managing the entire sales process, from prospecting and pipeline development through negotiation and close.

The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales professional who excels at building relationships with senior-level stakeholders, uncovering business needs, delivering value-based solutions, and closing complex multi-stakeholder deals. Working closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Sales Development teams, this individual will play a critical role in expanding Anaqua's presence across the European market.

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to generate pipeline and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior IP, R&D, legal, and business stakeholders within target accounts.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and product demonstrations, engaging Sales Engineering and subject matter experts as needed for deeper solution discussions.
  • Develop compelling business cases that align customer objectives with Anaqua's solutions and services.
  • Lead proposal and RFP response efforts in partnership with internal teams.
  • Partner with Legal and other stakeholders to negotiate and finalize commercial agreements.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, and forecast data within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Sales Development, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Product teams to support customer acquisition efforts.
  • Travel as needed to engage customers, prospects, and industry events.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role, preferably selling enterprise software, SaaS, or other complex technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding sales targets through consultative selling approaches.
  • Strong experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Value-Based Selling, and Strategic Selling methodologies.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

 

Nice to have:

  • Additional European language skills, including French, German, Dutch, or Swedish
  • Experience selling into legal, intellectual property, innovation management, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, licensing, or related legal technology solutions.
