Job Description

What you'll bring

You are a sales leader with deep expertise in Financial Services, Telecommunications, or Media — and a proven track record leading enterprise teams in complex, regulated markets. You lead with strategic thinking and emotional intelligence, facilitating business transformation and developing high-performing teams through financial acumen.

  • Enterprise sales management experience in Financial Services, Telecommunications, or Media, with direct accountability for pipeline, bookings, and revenue performance.
  • Deep familiarity with sector priorities — AI adoption, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and cloud transformation — and how they shape executive investment decisions.
  • Confidence engaging C-suite stakeholders and the ability to develop this capability across your team.
  • A track record of building consistent, predictable team performance through structured account planning, forecast discipline, and operating rhythm.
  • A practical approach to AI — you use automation and AI tools in daily workflows, design effective prompts, prototype solutions, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
  • Degree not required for this role.

What you'll build

You will lead SAP's Financial Services, Telecommunications, and Media business in the UK — fostering industry growth strategy and leading a high-performing Account Executive team.

  • Define and execute industry growth strategies aligned to SAP's cloud, Business Suite, and AI priorities.
  • Build, coach, and develop Account Executives, creating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and execution excellence.
  • Drive pipeline generation, bookings growth, and forecast accuracy through rigorous opportunity inspection and deal governance.
  • Strengthen executive relationships across strategic accounts, engaging at Board and C-suite level to shape long-term transformation agendas.
  • Partner across Customer Success, Services, Industry Advisory, Marketing, Business AI, and the Partner Ecosystem to deliver value-led customer outcomes.
  • Identify and develop future leaders through structured coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.

Where you belong

The CSI team is part of SAP's UK Market Unit, focused on growing SAP's presence across Financial Services, Telecommunications, and Media — combining deep industry knowledge with commercial purpose across AI, cloud transformation, and regulatory change. SAP's expanding cloud and Business AI portfolio makes this a pivotal moment to shape strategy in sectors at the heart of the UK's digital economy. This role is based in London, with a hybrid working arrangement.
