Job Title: Sales Manager - Mid-Market

Location: UK - London, UK - Milton Keynes, UK - Leeds, UK - Newcastle, UK - Remote

Your Business Sector: AECO - Architects, Engineers, Construction & Owners 

Trimble is seeking an experienced Sales Manager who will take ownership of our Go to Market strategy for our mid-market sector across the UK. You will be responsible for increasing market share across multiple AECO products, as well as providing leadership and direction for the mid-market team. 

As our Mid-Market Sales Manager, you’ll partner with your fellow Sales Managers for SMB and Enterprise sectors, as well as senior Sales Leadership, to maximise the cross-selling and upselling opportunities across our AECO product portfolio. Through your leadership and strategic sales development, you will deliver targeted business outcomes, great customer experience, and growth in revenue, consumption and usage for Trimble. 

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Sales Manager with experience in the SAAS space and of managing the sale of multiple products. You will be a  leader who has grown and developed sales teams.

Location & Travel:

Ideally you will be based within a commutable distance of one of our UK offices but for the right candidate this role can be fully remote. As our Mid-Market Sales Manager, You WILL need to be comfortable with roughly 50% travel in this role, predominantly across the UK. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to execute the go-to-market to achieve specific revenue objectives and develop the long range strategy for your sector

  • The ability to deliver business through leading and empowering your team

  • Create a team of successful sellers by hiring, developing and training

  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management

  • Consistent monitoring of the sales activity of the team, and tracking of results

  • Maximize share of wallet, achieve targets and win against competition with flawless execution

  • Establish plans for retention and continuing development of key sales talent resources and ensure sales employees are equipped with the products, systems and selling-skills’ training required to be successful

  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the senior sales leadership team

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • Substantial and proven sales management experience, including leading Business Development Managers

  • Experience in a SaaS company, specifically supporting New Logo/Cross Sell Sales 

  • Strong knowledge of the construction and/or AEC industries a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, motivate, and influence others to achieve strategic and financial objectives 

  • Able to effectively recruit, hire, train, manage, motivate, and develop a team

  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback

  • Able to deal effectively with high-level executives both internally and outside the company

  • Demonstrated expertise in selling strategies and methodologies and strategic planning and execution

  • Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills

  • This position requires travel of up to 50%
