We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our analytics solutions business. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of water industry and analytics products /solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth for analytics segment (Laboratory/Process/Environmental), expanding market share, and developing strong client relationships in East/Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for analytics business products and services.

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within key industries (Wastewater/Drinking Water/ Oil&Gas /Power/ F&B).

  • Drive consultative sales, understanding customer pain points and aligning solutions accordingly.

  • Present and demonstrate analytics solutions in the field.

  • Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies to close deals.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping distributors develop and grow the business, support, assess and drive distributors/channels performance.

  • Ensure customer success and satisfaction by working closely with delivery and support teams (Finance/Customer Service/Logistics).

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in analytics.

  • Work with product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies based on customer feedback, and represent the company at conferences, networking events, and industry forums.

  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance reports.

  • Highly disciplined in utilizing CRM (Sales force) for tracking and reporting sales activities.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar.

  • Minimum 5 -10 years of experience in sales of analytics solutions.

  • Strong understanding of analytics solutions, distributors management and business development.

  • Proven track record in hitting or exceeding sales targets: direct and indirect business.

  • Ability to develop strategic account plans and execute them effectively.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Travel within country and across Africa (50%).
