Job Description

The role of Sales Manager in the Account Management team is a terrific opportunity in the fastest growing area of our Telecoms business.

The Radius Telecoms & IT Services team are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team to lead a team of Account Managers with the goal of renewing and retaining customers and upselling our other Radius group products. You will set, monitor and report upon the Team's targets as well as interacting regualrly with customers via calls, e-mails and in meetings.

 

We would love to welcome you to our Crewe office, working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.

 

Your responsibilities day to day will be…

  • Supervising, guiding and motivating the team to help colleagues work together, creating a culture which ensures they’re great customer service and achieved targets related to re-sign activity.
  • Managing daily/monthly/quarterly reporting for team management and sales performance reporting.
  • Enhance team and individual performance by setting clear accountable performance measures that drive quality and consistency relating to customer retention activity.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with your team. Identifying and providing feedback through effective use of personal development plans and provision of coaching & development opportunities.
  • Work effectively and build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders in Sales, Client Services, Operations, Commercial and Finance.

 

What do we expect of you?

  • An ability to inspire and motivate sales focussed teams, guiding them in a unified direction and taking accountability for the group’s actions
  • Established track record of leading teams to exceed targets, KPI’s and SLA’s, in a sales environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels, exemplifying excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages and using sales systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Proficient in reporting and analysing customer data.
  • Able to adapt and succeed in a fast paced, changing environment with the ability to multi-task and work comfortably under pressure.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a management role with strong performance 
  • University Degree or equivalent grade
  • ILM Level 3/5 or equivalent management training
