Cority is the industry-leading Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality software provider to the world’s largest enterprises. The company is growing rapidly and is expanding its global footprint. At the same time, its market leading SaaS platform continues to expand and evolve. To support this growth, we are seeking a Sales Learning and Development Specialist to define, design and execute a comprehensive learning and development program to educate and train our sales team on Cority Software. It is envisioned that they will develop and expand the function to support a formal Cority Sales Certification program.
The Sales Learning and Development Manager will create a curriculum to ensure the sales team has the product knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their respective roles and leverage the full potential of Cority software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development & Enablement Programs
- Design, develop, and maintain engaging sales enablement content including playbooks, certification programs, product training modules, and onboarding materials.
- Create scalable training programs that incorporate best practices in virtual learning, gamification, video-based training, and simulations.
- Develop sales certification programs to ensure reps demonstrate proficiency in product knowledge, sales methodology, and competitive positioning.
- Continuously assess and update training materials to reflect product enhancements, competitive insights, and evolving market dynamics.
- LMS & Technology Management
- Own and manage LMS platforms (e.g., Highspot, Mindtickle, SharePoint) to deliver, track, and measure training programs.
- Ensure effective content organization, accessibility, and usability within enablement platforms.
- Identify and implement new tools and technologies to enhance training effectiveness and engagement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align training materials with go-to-market strategies and customer needs.
- Work closely with RevOps, Sales Leadership, and Product Teams to identify knowledge gaps and prioritize training initiatives.
- Develop enablement materials that support new product launches, competitive positioning, and sales methodology adoption.
- Onboarding & Continuous Learning
- Design and manage a structured new hire onboarding program for sales and revenue teams.
- Develop ongoing learning pathways to reinforce knowledge retention and skills development over time.
- Analyze performance metrics and feedback to refine and enhance training programs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, sales enablement, or corporate training, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of LMS platforms and enablement tools (e.g., Highspot, Mindtickle, SharePoint, Seismic, etc.).
- Experience creating interactive and engaging training content (videos, simulations, playbooks, certifications).
- Ability to communicate complex product information in a clear, engaging, and actionable manner.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN) is a plus.
