Sales Executive
Role Purpose/ Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive role within our European sales team, focusing on delivering solutions that add value to your customers and growth to our business.
You will focus on acquiring new customers, as well as creating cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across our suite of online and software solutions. This will involve proactively building new relationships with key influencers and decision makers.
About The Role
· Prospecting and self sourcing new leads using data and other relevant prospecting tools.
· Sell new solutions to net new customers through proactive contact.
· Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified new business opportunities.
· Conduct consultative sales conversations to uncover client needs, pain points and growth priorities.
· Demonstrate the value of Thomson Reuters solutions through tailored product positioning and solution selling
· Sell across the full legal product suite, maximising cross-sell opportunities where appropriate
· Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting through to negotiation and close
· Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and forecasting information in CRM systems
· Represent Thomson Reuters professionally in the legal market and build credibility with decision-makers
· Contribute to growth in a strategically important segment of the UK legal services market
· Over-achievement of all sales targets and KPIs.
· Accurate forecasting, as well as regularly maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
· Build high levels of customer satisfaction.
About You
· Proven track record in new business sales and customer acquisition
· Strong prospecting and pipeline generation capability, including self-sourcing of leads
· Ability to sell consultatively by understanding client challenges and aligning solutions to needs
· Experience managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to close
· Confidence selling a portfolio of products and solutions
· Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
· Commercially driven, resilient and highly self-motivated
· Ability to work independently and as a team
· Comfortable demonstrating technology and explaining the value, including AI-enabled solutions
· Experience in legal, professional services, SaaS, information services or technology sales is advantageous.
· Understanding of the UK legal market and the needs of small law firms.
