Description

The best of both worlds. That is what a position with Infopro Digital offers you. We are first a global company with 4,000 employees and annual revenues of over half a billion dollars with a presence in 18 countries. Through our market-leading brands, we serve five professional communities – insurance and finance, automotive aftermarket, construction, retail, and industrials – enabling our clients to make informed business decisions and create new opportunities.
Secondly, our global brands focused on the financial services industry, known collectively as Risk Global, is a 300-person organisation with offices in Hong Kong, London, Nashville, and New York. Working at Risk Global means being part of a company that has strong financial backing, while at the same time giving you the power to truly make a difference.

An exciting opportunity has come up in the sales teams within our financial services and insurance markets.

In a nutshell:

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious, consultative salesperson to develop genuine multi-media strategic sales. You will be working on market-leading b2b brands in the UK insurance market and delivering marketing solutions across a number of award-winning platforms. These include digital lead generation platforms, market leading media channels and bespoke video content. You will also be working on market leading events including the British Insurance Awards attended by 1,500 people at the Royal Albert Hall and the Broker Expo, an exhibition with 1,500 attendees held at NEC in Birmingham. You will also have the flexibility to create and sell your own marketing solutions for your clients.

You will be responsible for growing an existing client base of core clients as well as developing new business; and for supporting innovation in new product and services.

The successful candidate should possess a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales environment. While previous sales experience is preferred, a passion for delivering value to clients and a creative approach to problem-solving will be key to your success. We are seeking individuals who are eager to contribute to the growth of our brands and customer base.

In this role we will support you in:

  • Directing sales strategy for your account base including driving, coordinating and executing selling and relationship activities
  • Building a detailed understanding of our markets and accounts, including their business strategy, drivers, goals and initiatives and translating these into valuable marketing strategies
  • Communicating and creating compelling high-quality proposals independently – as well as supporting innovation and developing new products and services
  • Establishing and maintaining executive relationships with clients to become their trusted marketing solutions advisor in all their primary locations
  • Sales planning across your accounts to deliver growth objectives, with responsibility for accurate pipeline management and forecasting
  • Developing new clients both through client outreach and following up on incoming leads
  • Building your reputation as expert in marketing solutions and delivering effective campaigns in the insurance industry
Requirements
    • Experience in B2B sales, ideally within media or related sectors
    • Proven understanding of the full sales cycle (from prospecting to closing)
    • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships
    • Confident in independently creating and delivering high-quality, persuasive proposals
    • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans for key accounts
    • Strong understanding of client business drivers and the ability to translate them into tailored marketing solutions
    • Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams such as marketing, events, and campaign management
    • Familiarity with B2B media business models, including:
  • Lead generation
  • Data and research
  • Branded content
  • Digital advertising
  • Conferences, trade shows, and award events
    • Proactive, curious, and results-oriented mindset
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to learn and grow professionally
Benefits

  • Access to our extensive learning programmes, through our dedicated platform, Generation Infopro
  • Paid volunteer days throughout the year where you can contribute your skills and expertise to make a meaningful difference to the lives of others
