Job Summary

The ISS LiquidMetrix sales team is seeking Sales Executive for our Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) and Surveillance solutions.

Salesperson role is an Industry & Product Sales Specialist whose chief responsibility is to capture new revenue by expanding the client base. The role also entails regular client interaction to ensure that retention targets are met.

A secondary but essential responsibility is to provide input from clients experience and prospective clients feedback into requirements for new product features and functions.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of sales at a senior level. The primary client contacts will be Head Traders and Chief Compliance Officers of both buy-side and sell-side institutions. The candidate will have strong presentation skills which can demonstrate ISS LiquidMetrix product benefits through discussion of the current industry landscape and client specific objectives.

You will design and execute on a sales strategy across your territory, using the support of an experienced Management team, subject matter experts, client coverage specialists, and lead generators to achieve your goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify sales leads, conduct commercial negotiations and close new sales leads through existing contacts, marketing leads, client referrals etc.

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Sell and demonstrate Transaction Cost Analysis and Surveillance solutions to buy-side and sell-side institutions.

  • Present consultative review of client trading results and make actionable recommendation

  • Manage RFP and custom client implementation queries as part of the Sales process

  • Efficient pipeline management.

  • Generate sales among existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

  • Work closely with the client On-Boarding team to ensure all business aspects of the sales cycle are addressed for client satisfaction.

  • Representation of the firm at industry conferences, periodic panel participation and other industry events.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven Sales & Account Management track record at senior levels. Minimum of five years of sales experience.

  • Knowledge of securities industry across different asset classes

  • Experience working with buy side and sell side firms (or financial data vendors servicing the buy/sell side front office).

  • Knowledge of OMS / EMS data and trading workflows.  Experience in transaction cost analysis, best execution, and market microstructure.

  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.  Extensive experience delivering presentations and data analysis reports.

  • Team player

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.

  • Knowledge of additional European Language would be beneficial

  • Flexibility to travel.
