About the team

The FIS buy-side sales team is a dynamic and fast-growing group focused on expanding its clients base among hedge funds, asset managers, and wealth companies. As the lines between the sell side and buy-side firms continue to blur. This team diversify and takes advantage of these opportunities and grow. This team leverages advanced technology and innovative products to offer comprehensive solutions, including portfolio management, trading, and risk management.

About the Role

As a Senior Sales Executive, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals helping small- and medium-sized business owners grow their businesses. By providing industry-leading solutions, you’ll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests and streamlines end-to-end processes, enabling fast customer onboarding through digital means, including secure ID verification, customizable risk-based AML and KYC checks, and advanced investor screening to ensure compliance across jurisdictions.

What you will be doing

  • You will be responsible for covering a list of assigned prospective accounts that have no existing business with the firm today.
  • You will be responsible for effectively penetrating C-suite and management level contacts at each firm.
  • You will be responsible for qualifying leads by gathering information on a prospect’s existing infrastructure, business model, and third-party relationships.
  • Responsible for leading the company’s efforts in sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, internal training, assessing services and proposals related to our products
  • Build annual strategic sales plans around potential buyer client segments including fund administrators and investment managers with measurable goals, calling plans, opportunity sets, and strategies
  • Apply a consultative approach and ability to direct our resources in analysing customers’ business and technology requirements and developing customized and bundled solutions to fit the needs of our clients
  • Monitor and understand customer needs, market and economic trends as well as business opportunities and threats to identify needs and opportunities in the market and drive revenue growth

What you bring

  • You will have comprehensive knowledge and experience of the sale cycle and business development process, which includes maintaining close relationships with prospects, facilitating and coordinating internal resources to deliver best-in-class demos and presentations, and following through on opportunities through execution
  • You will have a deep list of relevant contacts and relationships in the buy side space that would be well suited for our suite of solutions

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience selling secure ID verification, customizable risk-based AML/KYC checks, and advanced investor screening software
  • Experience working with Product Management to give our products a competitive advantage.
