The work:
You will be responsible for orchestrating the What and the How of the Avanade Sales Excellence scope / group of services and the COE Team Operations.
You will be a trusted advisor for leadership and enable them with the tools and processes to support profitable sales growth. You will provide direction, leadership and support to evolve the Avanade Sales Excellence Services programs to support Avanade sales; developing strategies and sales acumen to drive adoption of sales tools and processes.
Primary responsibilities include:
- COE Relationships & Interaction Model. Collaborate and work closely with the Avanade Strategy & Analytics Lead, Avanade Leads and Accenture COE (Analytics, App Arch, Change) to integrate and communicate the COE’s purpose, scope and approach. Maintain strong connections between Avanade COE, Advisory, C&MI, and CF Ops to ensure alignment and continuity.
- Offering Development & Adoption. Oversee and drive adoption of the COE services and functions. Lead the ongoing development of the Avanade Sales Ex service portfolio and associated RACI, in partnership with the Avanade Global SEL, Avanade COE Strategy & Analytics Lead, Offering Leads in Accenture Sales Excellence COE, and internal partners in Application Architecture, Analytics and Change Management. Provide guidance to develop and implement rules, tools & training to support sales excellence and drive customer adoption.
- Sales Channel Oversight. Manage and harmonize the Indirect Sales Channel, supporting business requirements across both Avanade and Accenture and streamlining opportunity management through Accenture. Collaborate with the Avanade Growth Office to anticipate strategic initiatives and operational changes impacting sales processes.
- Global Initiatives. Lead global projects and initiatives within assigned areas to achieve agreed goals and outcomes across a geographically diverse group of stakeholders
Here’s what you need:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- English language fluency (oral and written)
- Proven work history and ability to deliver in a business services environment
- Executive presence including ability to negotiate or influence significant matters.
- Experience in the following areas: Sales Qualification, Win Strategies, Pipeline Management and Sales Analytics
- Internal and client facing experience, business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience managing and motivating a virtual team in a global environment.
Extra Credit if you have:
- Prior sales experience
- Strong understanding of internal processes, tools & offerings and how they power the Sales objectives for Avanade.
