Role
As part of our expanding commercial enablement team, Octus is hiring a Sales Enablement Specialist in our London office. This is a great opportunity to join a successful commercial team and make a direct impact in our EMEA and APAC regions. The Sales Enablement team is responsible for ensuring the commercial team is equipped with the skills and tools necessary to drive predictable, profitable bookings and customer engagement. Ideal candidates are curious, able to present topics to large and small groups alike, able to distill complicated subjects into learn-able and consumable frameworks, and genuinely motivated to create and deliver training programs that allow others to succeed in achieving their assigned quotas and KPIs.
Responsibilities
As an individual contributor on the Enablement team in Commercial, reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement, you will:
- Create, deliver & assess training (including 90-day new hire onboarding program) based on assigned region and/or commercial team division, Octus products, and commercial team tools/tech stack
- Demonstrate learning best practices (objectives, content knowledge checks, etc.) in content creation and ensure all materials are available & accurate
- Contribute toward:
- Sales Enablement curriculum organization in the Octus LMS & Intranet
- Sales Enablement/training calendar, including scheduling 3rd party training, commercial team new hire training & onboarding experience
- Sales Enablement reporting, comms, and other commercial team-wide resources
- Management of commercial team enablement system licenses/access
Requirements
- 5+ years of enablement experience. This can include sales enablement, customer success enablement or other relevant L&D experience
- Proven experience creating, delivering and assessing effective training programs on commercial topics (i.e. lead generation, sales & renewal opportunity creation & progression, customer success & user engagement principles) or credit landscape topics (i.e. performing or stressed/distressed investing) and demonstrable proof that the training and certification contributed to commercial KPIs
- Understanding of the credit market and/or experience working with performing or stressed/distressed debt at a hedge fund, investment bank or law firm a plus
- Understanding of Octus products a plus
- Commitment to adhering to the Octus office attendance policy & to living the Octus core values in all professional interactions
- Must be legally authorized to work in the UK
