About the Role
The Director of Sales Enablement, Content and Research is accountable for defining and delivering the EMEA strategy for growth-focused sales content, research, and enablement platforms. This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, with full Director-level accountability and ownership for the EMEA growth-related content and research ecosystem during the contract period.
The role owns the end-to-end enablement system for insight and research, proposition and case study development through platform governance, adoption, and performance reporting, ensuring sales teams across EMEA are consistently equipped with relevant, pitch-ready, insight-led content that supports sales plans, key account strategies, and go-to-market priorities.
The role reports into the VP of Sales Enablement and works in close partnership with the EMEA Content Manager to ensure continuity, momentum, and strategic alignment.
Experience And Capability
Required
Significant experience in sales enablement, content strategy, research, or commercial strategy roles.
Proven leadership of enablement programmes in multi-market environments.
Strong experience with Loopio; familiarity with Seismic is advantageous.
Experience using analytics and reporting to assess content effectiveness and drive decisions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Enablement Strategy and Governance
Own and execute the EMEA sales enablement content and research strategy for the duration of the contract, aligned to regional growth priorities and sales plans.
Provide continuity and leadership across enablement initiatives, ensuring momentum is maintained throughout the maternity cover period.
Define and uphold governance models for content creation, approval, lifecycle management, and retirement across markets.
Content, Research and Insight Integration
Lead the development and application of research-led enablement assets that inform sales strategies, key account plans, and priority pursuits.
Translate insight into compelling sales narratives, messaging frameworks, and pitch materials
Ensure research is embedded within enablement content and actively used by sales teams.
Go-to-Market and Proposition Enablement
Partner with markets and marketing to shape and operationalise go-to-market propositions, vertical plays, and solution narratives.
Ensure propositions are supported by clear messaging, evidence, case studies, and insight that enable confident sales conversations.
Maintain foresight into upcoming launches, campaigns, and priority accounts to proactively shape enablement needs.
Case Study and Proof-Point Leadership
Own the EMEA case study strategy, balancing global flagship stories with regionally relevant, pitch-ready proof points.
Work with global teams to localise and elevate flagship case studies where appropriate.
Maintain a clear pipeline of new case studies, ensuring quality, consistency, and commercial relevance.
Enablement Platforms and Systems
Own the EMEA design, governance, and optimisation of sales enablement platforms as the primary RFI and sales content management platform.
Ensure content architecture, workflows, tagging, and permissions support speed, quality, and adoption across markets.
Drive adoption through clear standards, training, and optimisation.
Reporting, Analytics and Performance Insight
Establish and maintain a performance reporting framework across enablement platforms, including:
Content usage and adoption by market and team
Identification of high-performing vs low-performing assets
Gaps in content coverage against sales and GTM priorities
Use insight to inform prioritisation decisions and continuous improvement.
Partner with markets to review performance data and agree on action plans.
Market and Stakeholder Leadership
Act as a senior, trusted partner to EMEA markets, ensuring strong collaboration and clarity of direction.
Work closely with sales leaders to align enablement priorities to commercial needs.
Influence across multiple stakeholders, providing structure and leadership without direct authority.
