Job Description:

   

We are looking for a Sales Leader to lead one of our 2 regions, namely North America, LATAM and Japan.  The scope of the role is to lead and manage the telco products, software, services, and support across these regions to drive the P&L and create a competitive advantage for Aruba Telco Solutions (TS) and HPE in the market and deliver value to the customers. The AMS/Japan sales leader will lead a team of sales and pre-sales Team members and will directly report to the Worldwide Aruba TS GTM leader. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the business plan to consistently meet/exceed financial target (order, revenue, margin, OPEX). Gains market share and extends geographic coverage.

  • Drive profitable growth within a competitive area, balancing growth, and cost by driving high SW order generation.
  • Strengthen business management processes to improve execution and comply with HPE standards of business conduct and management policies.
  • Build strong understanding of HPE offerings combined with an understanding of business dynamics to address customer’s need.
  • Continue to build strategic partnership with top key existing accounts, “C” level executives, SI, channel, and ISV partner communities to drive more business.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team with effective and cultivate the right behaviors within the team that helps deliver on our strategy.
  • Deliver on customer commitments and shareholder value.
  • Align with HPE strategy of “Journey to One” and continue to implement our HPE branding architecture.

Financial:

  • Management of pipeline development to secure annualized order intake of >$80M.

  • Responsible for a significant P&L with revenue of >$70M of across the AMS/Japan Aruba TS business

Job Experiences / Assignments:

  • 15 to 20 years of senior management experience including cross business and cross-country experience.

  • Proven track recording of meeting and exceeding P&L targets
  • Demonstrated track record of managing growth while controlling costs.
  • Software and services executive with customer interface functions; demonstrated ability to lead large deals including outsourcing.

Ability to innovate in the areas of customer engagement models to drive increased customer intimacy/ relevancy.

  • Demonstrated ability to implement a growth plan that includes organic and non-organic growth.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with partners and channels to balance indirect business with direct sales activities.
  • An international or regional assignment - have run a country, business, or function, preferably not in home country.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $228,500.00 - $553,000.00
