Voop is building a healthier digital society, helping people live well with technology, not under it.

About Voop

Awareness has never been higher about the damage smartphones can do to young people, yet almost no one is fixing it.

Voop is building the platform that does. By combining smart safeguarding features, real-time risk detection and tools that adapt to each person's needs, Voop gives parents, carers and governments the ability to protect without over-restricting — all on the devices that children and adults already use and love.

Our first product is live with leading care providers, protecting thousands of vulnerable children in the UK.

Backed by leading global investors and built by a world-class team of engineers, designers, and safeguarding experts, Voop is tackling one of the defining challenges of our time: creating a safer digital future at massive scale.

Why Voop

  • Mission that matters: Build technology that protects the most vulnerable people first, then everyone.
  • Massive opportunity: Live with thousands of users across UK care, expanding into the US, with a growing institutional and government pipeline.
  • World-class team: Alumni from Google, Accenture, Vodafone, Barnardo’s, and law enforcement.
  • Top-tier backing: Supported by global funds committed to fixing smartphones for good.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Sales Director to join Voop’s Sales team and drive growth across care providers, policing and public safety organisations and local authorities, driving adoption of our safeguarding platform at scale.

You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, work closely with our CEO and Customer Success team, and play a defining role in shaping how we bring Voop to organisations that protect children across the UK.

This is a chance to join a company with strong product-market fit, deep purpose, and the potential to transform how safeguarding is delivered in care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business and account expansion across care providers, local authorities, and foster care.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through targeted outreach, events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with executive, safeguarding, and IT decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure smooth deployment and long-term adoption.
  • Contribute to pricing, commercial models, and go-to-market strategy for enterprise and midmarket segments.
  • Represent Voop at sector conferences, panels, and industry forums to build visibility and credibility.
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular pipeline, forecast, and insights reporting to leadership.

About You

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in B2B enterprise or public sector sales, ideally selling SaaS, connectivity, or safeguarding technology.
  • Track record of exceeding quota and driving revenue in education, social care, or local government markets.
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfort navigating procurement, tenders, and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills with C-level and operational stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Mission-driven and passionate about protecting children and improving digital safety.

Bonus Points

  • Experience selling to local authorities, MATs, or large social care organisations.
  • Background in education tech, social impact tech, or mobile network services.
  • Understanding of UK safeguarding frameworks, Ofsted requirements, or LA funding models.
  • Passion for online safety, child protection, or social impact tech.
