Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive strategy for the fire alarm product line across the EMEA region, focusing on the UK market.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, ensuring market penetration and growth.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with the most suitable fire alarm and life safety product distribution channels.
  • Ensure products are positioned effectively to maximize reach and revenue.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, including distributors, resellers, and enterprise customers.
  • Strategize, plan, and deliver compelling presentations to engage business partners and stakeholders.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and coordinate meetings with potential partners to fuel business development.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals to secure major contracts and partnerships.
  • Regularly visit local authorities, housing associations, electrical contractors, architects, new build developers, M&E contractors, fire and rescue services, and distributors to promote Ajax products.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team dedicated to the fire alarm market.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and foster a results-driven culture.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership roles within the domestic fire and life safety industry.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for everything you do; the ability to work autonomously, be self-driven, and take pride in your work. 
  • Expertise in developing and executing go-to-market strategies in complex markets.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing multicultural teams across EMEA.
  • Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to sales and market positioning.
  • Excellent face-to-face and online communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region.
  • Understanding of local regulations: BS 5839 part 6 and BS 5839 part 1 would be a benefit.
