Overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for creating qualified sales opportunities by engaging executive decision makers across target accounts. You will drive new pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting and timely follow up on inbound leads partnering closely with Senior Account Executives and Marketing to target specific accounts industries and events. Success comes from leading effective first conversations with executives that prime them for the next steps and result in scheduled qualification or discovery meetings with the sales team. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source new opportunities through outbound calls emails and social engagement
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads from marketing campaigns events and the website qualifying and routing them appropriately
  • Partner with Senior AEs and Marketing to prioritize target accounts, industries and events
  • Research accounts and personas to personalize outreach and uncover potential business needs
  • Lead effective first conversations with executive decision makers that prime them for next steps and result in scheduled qualification or discovery meetings
  • Qualify prospects to ensure fit interest and alignment before passing to Senior AEs
  • Maintain accurate records of activity lead status and opportunity progression in Salesforce
  • Use the tech stack (Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Lusha or similar) to manage activity and optimize workflows
  • Continuously develop sales skills product knowledge and understanding of the e-commerce landscape

Qualifications 

Minimum Qualifications  

  • 1+ years of B2B SaaS sales development or outbound calling experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently, manage time effectively and consistently meet activity and pipeline goals
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding performance metrics such as opportunities created or pipeline contribution
  • Ability to work standard business hours as dictated by leadership

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a consultative sales role
  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn and ZoomInfo (US) or Lusha (EMEA)

Travel Required

Up to 10%
